Summary

This hands-on course provides both non-designers (i.e. subject matter experts, knowledge workers, instructors, etc.) and experienced design teams lacking standards, with the skills, knowledge and tools they need to quickly identify training requirements and create professional, standardized classroom materials for learners and instructors.

  • Develop learner-focused training content
  • Create Participant Materials using DocuTools™
  • Select appropriate instructional strategies
  • Develop training design plans that properly sequence content, interactions, activities and media
  • Create Instructor Guides using DocuTools™
  • Create Slide presentations using pre-defined templates that use visual design best practices
  • Design simple evaluation instruments to demonstrate learning and capture performance outcomes
  • Establish standards

Delivery Options

Option 1: In-house, classroom training

At a time and location convenient for your team, PTA will provide a Certified instructor to deliver this 2-day course to groups of 6 to 20. PTA supplies the instructor, all course materials and software. All you need to do is select a date and supply a suitable training room.  Please contact PTA for scheduling and pricing information.

Option 2: Instructor Certification Program

Organizations with sufficient annual training demand may elect to certify their own instructor(s) to teach this course internally. This option lowers training fees and provides maximum flexibility.
